Think of failure as a gift!

Failure has really gotten a bad and undeserved name. For some, failure signals the end of all effort and is sometimes accompanied by panic. Then, for a select few, failure is a great teacher that presents a gift of knowledge that provides specific direction for future success. In my opinion, failure is to success as sadness is to happiness. It takes one to truly appreciate the other!
Failure should not mark the end of your effort, and please don’t allow it to do so. Failure should supply you with new information, teach you one more way that doesn’t work and provide you with a more focused direction. Once you press through your fear of failure and open yourself up to the valuable lessons that it delivers, you find the powerful gift that resides within failure. If used mindfully and instructively, failure makes you stronger, smarter and more likely to succeed in your next effort! Let us hope!
