Just say NO!

Too many people end up in uncomfortable or regrettable situations because they can’t find their voice to say no. I’m sure you’ve been in this situation at one time or another. Whether it’s peer pressure from friends or sweet talk from some silver-tongued devil, we’re all guilty of having done something we know we shouldn’t have because we couldn’t muster the internal fortitude to say no.

The key to eliminating this behavior lies in finding your voice.Learning how to say no is a bit like learning to drive a car: You start out slow, unsure and a bit shaky, but after practice, you become more confident and competent. Eventually, driving becomes second nature. Well, the same is true for finding your voice. The more you engage that inner voice of wisdom, the more comfortable, pronounced and authoritative it becomes. Perhaps it’s time to give life to your inner voice so that you always have someone speaking up for and looking out for YOU.
